A square ABCD of side 7 cm is drawn. Quadrants ACD and BCD are drawn. What is the area of region which is not common to both of them?

The area of the shaded area =
The area of square - 2 ( the area of quadrant ) =
7 × 7 - 22/7 × 7/2 × 7/2 × 1/2 =
49 - 19.25 =
29.75
