A square and a parallelogram have the same area. If a side of the square is 4cm and the height of the parallelogram is 20m.Find the base of the parallelogram

so, let the area be x
the Area of square is s×s=4×4=16
the area of parallelogram =
the area of square
so the formula of the parallelogram area is 1/2×b×h
=1/2×b×h=16
=1/2×b×20=16
=b/2×20=16
=20b/2=16
=20b=16/2=4
=b=4/20=1/5=0.2
so, the base is 0.2m
