A square and a rectangle have the same perimeter measuring 32m but different areas what are their possible dimensions ?

4×a= 32

a=8

Area of square =8×8=64

l+b=16

l×b=64

l=8m

b =8m

As we know that perimeter of square is 4a that is 4×side so given perimeter is 32 therefore a=8 so it's area would be a^2=8^2=64m^2 ....... and perimeter for rectangle is 2(l+b)=32 so l+b= 16 .... hope helpful....
