A square and an equilateral triangle have a side in common. If side of triangle is 3/4 cm long, find the perimeter of combined figure

since the side of the equilateral triangle is 3/4 the sides of the square is also 3/4

for the combined figure totally 5 equal sides are there

so perimeter =5*(3/4)=3.75cm

The sides of square will be 3/4cm.

Perimeter will be:

AB+AC+BD+CE+DE

All are 3/4cm

So perimeter

=3/4+3/4+....5times

=5*3/4

=15/4

=3.75cm
