we know that perimeter of square is 4× side
therefore perimeter of square is 4× 60 = 240
it is given that perimeter of square is equal to perimeter of rectangle
therefore 2(l+b)=240
l+b=120
80+ b= 120
b= 40
area of square is 60×60=3600
area of rectangle 80× 40=3200
therefore the square area is more by 3600-3200= 400
