a square and rectangle have equal areas. if each side of a square is 18 cm and the width of the rectangle is 12 centimetre, find the length of the rectangle

area of square = a²
=18×18
=324cm²
given: area of square= area of rectangle
length=area/width
=324/12
=27cm. answer

so ,
area of a rectangle is equal to length into breadth
area of square is 324

so
area of rectangle
L * b is equal to area
length is x
breadth is 12
x*12 is equal to 324
x is equal to 27
therefore length of rectangle is 27
