2 ) we have to find area of a square carpet

so, now from question

=> Area of B = ( side )²

=> Area of B = ( 8 )²

=> Area of B = 64 m²

To find the area of the floor that is not carpeted.

let, area of floor that is not carpeted

be C.

Hence, to find C

=> C = Area of A - Area of B

=> C = 121.5 - 64

=> C = 57.5 m²
