Given :    A  square field ABCD of side 90 m is so located that its diagonal AC is from north to south and the  corner B is to the west of D. Rohan and Rahul start walking along the sides from B and C respectively in the

clockwise and anti-clockwise directions with speeds of 8 km/hr and 10 km/hr.

To find : Where shall they cross each other second time

Solution:

For the 1st time  Rohan & rahul will meet after covering total 270 m distance

as they are going in opposite direction from BC

Next time they will meet then they further covered together =  360 m

Hence total Distance traveled = 270 + 360 = 630 m

Total Speed = 8 + 10 =  18 km/hr

Distance traveled by Rohan = (8/18) 630  = 280 m

Distance traveled by Rahul = (10/18) 630  = 350 m

Rahul need to come 10 m more to reach back to C

Hence On BC at a distance of 10 m from C

Option D is correct

On BC at a distance of 10 m from C
