❍ Given that, a square field has a perimeter of 3600 m and thirty identical rectangular slabs are used to cover the field and we need to find the area of each slab.

⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀⠀⠀⠀

To Calculate the area of each slab we must know that ::

  • Perimeter of a Square = 4 × Side
  • Area of a Square = Side × Side
  • Area of each slab = Area of square field ÷ No. of slabs

Finding the side of field :-

  • Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side

⤳ Side = Perimeter ÷ 4

⤳ Side = 3600 ÷ 4

⤳ Side = 900 m

Finding the area of field :-

  • Area of Square = Side × Side

⤳ Area = 900m × 900m

⤳ Area = 8,10,000 m²

Finding area of each slab :-

  • Area of each slab = Area of field ÷ No. of slabs

⤳ Area = 81,00,000 ÷ 30

⤳ Area = 27,000 m²

⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • Henceforth, area of each slab is 27,000 m²
