side of small square = 100

area of small square = 100x100 = 10000

side of big square = 100+10+10 = 120

area of big square = 120x120 = 14400

area of the path = 14400 - 10000 = 4400

It is a Square so All sides are 100 m.
But it has a 10m path all around it inside..so two parallel sides have 80 m length..20m less 10+10.(Dimension of path..
Calculations:
Area of square= (100)^2 = 10,000sq m
Area of Square( formed inside) = (80)^2 = 6,400
》10,000-6,400 = 3,600 sq m
