A square has the perimeter 40cm.What is the sum of the diagonals?Please explain it fully

perimeter =,,40 cm

side=40÷4=10

diagonal=side√2

=10√2

sum of diagonals=10√2+10√2=20√2

=20×1.41

=28.28 cm
