The area of the rhombus = 864 sq cm

Diagonal d1 = 36 cm.

Diagonal d2 = ? cm.

Area of rhombus = d1*d2/2 = 36*d2/2 = 864, or

d2 = 864*2/36 = 48 cm.

Side of rhombus =[(d1/2)^2+(d2/2)^2]^0.5 = [18^2+24^2]^0.5

= [324+576]^0.5

= 900^0.5

= 30 cm.

Diagonal d2 = 48 cm, sides = 30 cm.
