a square is equal in area to a rectangle 16 cm into 4 cm find the side of the square​

➡️ Let the side be x.

So, x^2 = 4 * 16

Or, x = 2 * 4 = 8.

<b> Area of rectangle =Area of Square(given)

Area of rectangle =>

lb = 16 \times 4 = 64 {cm}^{2}

Therefore, area of square=>

64 {cm}^{2}

 {a}^{2}  = 64 {cm}^{2}

a =  \sqrt{64cm}

a = 8

Answer :- 8
