A square is inscribed in a circular table cloth of radius 35cm.If the cloth is to be coloured blue leaving the square,then find the area to be coloured.

area to be coloured=area of square - area of circle

in circle radius =35cm
area of circle=πr²
=22/7×35×35
=22×35×5
=3850cm²

in square the side of square =diameter of circle
diameter=2×radius

=2×35cm
=70cm


area of square=side²(side×side)
=70×70
=4900cm²

area to be painted=4900-3850cm²
=1050cm²
