A square is not similar to a rectangle. why?

The main difference between square and rectangle is that square has all the sides equal whereas, with a rectangle, only the opposite sides are equal.

They are different in terms of the diagonal as well, the diagonals of the square are perpendicular to each other.

Hence, you can consider a square as a rectangle but not vice versa.
