In question,

Area of path = total area with path - area of square

→ 165 m² = (a+2.5+2.5)² - a²

→ 165 = a² + 25 + 10a - a²

→ 165-25 = 10a

→ 140 = 10a

→ 14 = a

area of square lawn is 14² m² = 196m².
