Area of square = Area of circle.

Perimeter of square = 4a = 208 cm
a = 208 ÷ 4 = 52 cm

Area = a x a = 52 x 52 = 2704 sq cm

Area of circle = 2704 sq cm

Answer:

3444.37 square cm

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that A square metallic frame has a perimeter 208 cm.

Since we are given that it is bent in the shape of a circle.

So, perimeter of circle = perimeter of square

2\pi r=208

where r is the radius of circle

2\times 3.14 \times r=208

r =\frac{208}{2\times 3.14}

r =33.12

Thus the radius of circle is 33.12 cm

Area of circle = \pi r^{2}

So, Area of circle =  3.14 \times (33.12)^{2}

                            =  3444.37 cm^2

Hence the area of the circle is 3444.37 square cm
