Length of diagonal of the square= √2*side

8 cm = √2*side

8/√2 = side

. '. Side of the square= 8/√2

Diameter of the circle=length of diagonal of the square = 8 cm

. '. Radius of the circle = 8/2

= 4cm

Ratio of areas of the circle to the ratio of the area of square

. '. Area of a circle : area of the square

πr² : (side)²

22/7*4*4: 8/√2*8/√2

352/7: 64/2

352/7: 32

11/7: 1
