a square park has each side of 100m. At each corner of the park, there is a flowerbed in the form of a
quadrant of radius 14cm as shown in figure. Find the area of the remaining

side of square = 100 m = 10000 cm

area of quadrant is πr²/4

radius of quadrant = 14 cm

Area of remaining portion = area of square - area of 4 quadrant

                                        = a² - πr²/4

                                        = (10000)² - (22)(14)(14)(4)/7

                                        = 100000000 - 2464

                                        =  99997536 cm²

                                        = 9999. 7536 m²
