length of each square side =100m
area of square abcd  =side square =100^2=10000m^2
path 5m wide is bulid
length of efgh 100-(5+5)=90m
area of efgh =side^2=90^2=8100m^2
area of path=area shaded=area of square abcd-area of square efgh=10000-8100=1900m^2
