SOLUTION :

The side of square park = 4.2 m

According to the question :

The square park has to be watered

To be found :-

The area that has to be watered

→ We have to find the area of the square park

The park is in square shape

Now,

About  Square : A polygon having 4 equal sides

All interior angles = 90° each

Formula for area = \bf{ a^{2} } unit sq.

[ ∴ In which a is the side of the square ]

Now,

Area of the square park = \bf{ a^{2} } unit sq.

                                        = \bf{ (4.2)^{2} } m sq.

                                        = 17.64 m sq.

Hence,

The area to be watered is 17.64 m sq.
