The total area of the park is (100*100) = 10,000m^2

The road covers 90m on 2 of the sides of the park, and 100m on the other 2 sides, so:

90*5 = 450 (5 because the width of the road is 5m)
450*2 = 900 (2 because there are 2 sides in which the road covers 90m)

100*5 = 500
500*2 = 1,000

So now we add them to find the total area the road covers:

900+1000 = 1,900m^2

side of park = 100 m
path constructed = 5  m
now the side = 100 + 5 = 105 m
now area of the park s= 4[s]2 = 4 [105 ]2=11025 x 4 = 44100
