LENGTH OF THE WIRE = PERIMETER OF THE FIELD×3

= 4×100 × 3

= 1200m

 \huge \underline \mathbb {SOLUTION:-}

AnswEr:

  • The length of wire required to fence three layers = 1200 m

Given Information:

  • Side of the square field = 100 m

Need To Find:

  • Wire required to fence the square filed = ?

ExPlanation:

Side of the square field = 100 m [Given]

Formula used here

  • Perimeter of the square = 4 × Side

Putting the values according to the given formula:

Perimeter of the square field = 4 × 100

Perimeter of the square field = 400 m

  • Hence, the perimeter of the square field is 400m.

This perimeter is the length of wire required to fence one layer.

Therefore:

  • The length of wire required to fence three layers = 3 × 400 m = 1200 m

What is Perimeter?

The length of the boundary of a closed figure is called the perimeter.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (Length + Breadth)

Perimeter of a square = 4 × Side
