A square shaped copper wire each side of which measures 18 cms, can be bent to form a rectangle.The length and breadth of the rectangle is in the respective ratio of 7 : 5. How much will the breadth of therectangle measure

Perimeter= 4*Side of square

              P=4*18=72

Since both shapes are formed by same wire

Perimeter of Square= Perimeter of Rectangle

Let lenght be 7x and breadth be 5x

72=2(7x+5x)

x=3

lenght=7x=21 cm

breadth=5x=15 cm
