A square sheet of paper is converted into a cylinder by rolling it along its side . What is the ratio of the base radius to the side of square?​

Side of the square = Circumference of the circle of cylinder

Let side = a

Radius = r

r/s = 1/2π

◆ Explaination -

When square sheet of paper is converted into a cylinder by rolling, circumference of base is equal to side od square.

Let s be side of square and r be radius of base of cylinder.

s = 2πr

r/s = 1/2π

Hence, ratio of the base radius of cylinder to the side of square is 1:2π.
