Step-by-step explanation:

given - side of white coloured square tile=8cm

side of green coloured square tile=80mm

to find- area of square tiles and compare them

sol.  area of square tile (white) =8^2 = 64cm^2

      area of square tile (green)=(80mm)^2

                                                 = (80/10   cm)^2

                                                 = 64cm^2

hence both the tiles have same area 64cm ^2
