A squares abd a rectangle have equal areas side of square is 18m and the width of rectangle is 12m .Find the perimeter of the rectangle . I will give 60 thanks and 7 votes​

According to the question,

Area of square = Area of rectangle

And,

Area of square = (side)²

Area of rectangle = length × width

Therefore,

18 × 18 = 12 × Length

$length=\frac{18 * 18}{12} \\\\= 3 * 9\\\\=27$

Since, length of the rectangle = 27 m

Hence,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l +b)

                                      = 2(27+12)

                                      = 2 × 39

                                      = 78
