A squirrel family collected 172 nuts to store for the winter. They spread the nuts out evenly among their 6 favourite spots. The squirrels ate the last few nuts that didn't divide evenly. Sadly, a crow stole half the nuts from one of the spots.

lets see how many nuts did the squirrel family keep at one spot

for that we have to divide 172 by 6 =28

and the reminder is 4 that means the squirrels ate 4 nuts and rest they spread out evenly on six of their favourite spot where in one spot there were 28 nuts

if a crow steals half of the nuts from one spot that means the cross stole (28÷2)=14 nuts
