distance travel after 5 seconds = 3×5 =15 m
so squirrel is away from me by distance of 15+ 5 = 20 m

Answer:

The squirrel is 20 m after 5 seconds.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :A squirrel is 5.0 m away from you while moving at a constant velocity of 3 m/s from you.

To Find : How far away is the squirrel after 5 seconds?

Solution:

Distance = Speed \times Time

Distance = 3 \times 5

Distance = 15

Initially A squirrel is 5.0 m away from you

New distance = 15+5=20 m

So,the squirrel is 20 m after 5 seconds.
