A's money = 45000
time = 12 months
B's money = 30000
time = t months
45000×12 : 30000×t = 2:1
45×12 / 30t = 2/1
30t / 45×12 = 1/2
t = 1/2 × 12×45 × 1/30 = 9 months
So B joined aftrr = 12-9 = 3 months
time = 12 months
B's money = 30000

45000×12 : 30000×t = 2:1
45×12 / 30t = 2/1
30t / 45×12 = 1/2
t = 1/2 × 12×45 × 1/30 = 9 months
