Step-by-step explanation:

weight of statue = 80kg

per cent of copper = 60

per cent of zinc = 15

per cent of aluminium = x

copper in statue = 60% of 80 kg

= 60 / 100 × 80

= 48 kg

zinc in statue = 15% of 80 kg

= 15/100 ×80

= 12 kg

aluminium in statue = x

= x = 80 kg - 48 kg + 12 kg

= x = 80 kg - 60 kg

= x = 20

per centage of aluminum in statue before melting

= 20 / 80 × 100% = 25%

after melting 5% of aluminum is removed.

So, the quantity of aluminum in the statue is now

= 25% - 5% = 20%

hope it will help you
