upstream, v-u =d/ 10...........2
where, v= speed of stream in still water
u= speed of stream
solve 2u=d(1/9-1/10)
2u= d×1/10
put u in 1 km/hr so d= 20km and put the value of d in equation (1)
v+u=d/9
v=20/9-1
v=11/9 km/hr
