Answer:Speed of Steamer = 19 km/hr.

Distance= 180 kms.

Step-by-step explanation: Let the distance be d. And Speed of stream be S.

So, d/(S+1) = 9 ----(1)

d/(S-1) = 10 -----(2)

Now, (1) divided by (2) gives: 9S + 9 = 10S - 10 => S= 19 km/hr.

Now, put the value of S in any of the two Equations: You get: ==>d=180 kms.
