HEY!

SO THE ANSWER IS NOTED BELOW HAVE A LOOK ON IT AND I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.

EXPLANTAION:

A streamer going downstream =(X + 5 )km/hr

In 1 hr it will go (x+5)

In 10 hrs it will go 10(x+5)=10x+50.

A streamer going upstream =(x-5)km/hr

In 1hr it will go (x-5)

In 12 hrs it will go 12(x-5)= 12x-60.

The Distance Between two ports

= 10x+50=12x-60

= 10x-12x= -60-50

= -2x= -110

x= -110/-2=55

So, the speed of the streamer in the still water is 10(55+5)=600km/hr.

Thank you.
