Volume of 1 cycle tube = 2 litre

Pressure of cycle tube, P2 = 1 atm

To Find:

Pressure of hydrogen gas in steel cylinder, i.e., P1 = X

Calculation:

- Volume of 10 cycle tubes, V2 = 10 × 2 = 20 litre

- We know the relation:

P1 × V1 = P2 × V2

⇒ X × 4  = 1 × 20

X = 5 atm

- Hence, the pressure of hydrogen gas in steel cylinder is X = 5 atm.
