Math, asked by crazygirlriya, 1 year ago

a steel pully was made from 2 big cylinders of diameter 10 centimetre each and length 7 cm, stuck at the ends of a small cylinder of diameter 7 cm and length 3.5 cm find the length of the police 1 cm cube of steel weighs 7.6 grams.

crazygirlriya: can u able to get it
Adityaadidangi: no
Adityaadidangi: what I'm saying is about the diagram
crazygirlriya: Btw two cylinder their is a small cylinder
Adityaadidangi: and what to find?
crazygirlriya: Volume of pulley
Adityaadidangi: but why you mentioned weight
crazygirlriya: After finding the volume we have to multiple it by 7.6 grams
Adityaadidangi: so you mean to find its weight
crazygirlriya: Ya

volume of cylinder
= πr²h

for big
r = 5cm, h = 7cm
so
V = π×25×7
= 175π cm³

for small
r = 3.5cm, h = 3.5cm
so
V = π×12.25×3.5
= 42.875π cm³

so
net volume
= 2(175π) + 42.875π cm³
= (350+42.875)π cm³
= 392.875π cm³

so
weight of Polly's
= 7.6 × 392.875π
= 2985.85π gm

crazygirlriya: But i got 1234.75 cm2
crazygirlriya: Ya u left pi as such
crazygirlriya: ya correct
crazygirlriya: tqs a lot for ur help
Adityaadidangi: my pleasure
crazygirlriya: Hmmm
