A steel wire when bent in the form of a square encloses an area of 121cm² . The same wire is bent in the form of a circle . Find the area of the circle ?

Answer:area of square = length of wire

Side × side = length of wire


121 cm ^2 = side ^2

Side =11 cm

Now wire is bent in to circle so length of wire is circumference of circle

2π r= 11

r = 11 * 7/2*22

r=, 7/4

Area of circle =, πr^2

= 22/7 × 7/4 ×7/4=

Area of circle = 77/8 cm^2
