Concept:

In a transformer, flux is directly proportional to the number of turns N, as the number of turns increases, the flux increases.

Given:

The step-up transformer has 110/220 turns.

Find:

What if the step-up transformer is replaced by 10/20 turns.

Solution:

Given, that the step-up transformer has 110/220 turns and it is changed to  10/20 turns.

So, the ratio of the number of turns are same, only the number of turns has decreased, and the induced emf is directly proportional to the flux.

As the number of turns increases, the flux increases and vice-versa.

Here, in the Step-Up transformer number of turns is reduced then the induced emf also decreases.

Hence, if the step-up transformer's 110/220 turns are replaced with 10/20 turns, the number of turns is decreased, then the induced emf is also decreased.
