A stone dropped down from a height hits the ground at the 4th second. Calculate the velocity with which it hits

the ground and the height from which it is dropped. (a=10m/s2).​

distance = ut +1/2at^2

= 0×4+1/2×10×16

= 80 m

final velocity = initial velocity + acceleration ×time

= 40 m/s
