use s=ut+1/2at^2 formula

first

h=0 + 1/2X9.8X(t)^2 ( first h meters travelled in t seconds)

alsoS= h+53.9=0+1/2 X 9.8 X (t+1)^2 ( total hieght h+53.9)

now mput the value of h in second equation and solve

1/2X9.8Xt^2 + 53.9 = 1/2 X 9.8 X (t+1)^2

you will have the value of t

then put the value of total time = t+1 and you will have the answer.
