Hii..

u=0
g=9.8
t=2

by using second equation of motion...

s=1/2*g*t^2

s=1/2*9.8*4

s=4.9*4

s=19.6m

Here,

u(initial velocity) = 0m/s (since it is dropped from rest)

t(time) = 2s

a = g (acceleration due to gravity) = 9.8m/s²

s(Distance) = ??

We know that

s = ut + 1/2at²

=> s = 0(2) + 1/2(9.8)(2)²

=> s = 0 + 4.9(4)

=> s = 19.6 metre

Hope you understand
