formula \: = time = \: \sqrt{ \frac{2d}{g} }
where d=distance = 4.9 m
g= 9.8
substituting this value in formula
 \sqrt{ \frac{2 \times 4.9}{9.8} }
=
 \sqrt{ \frac{9.8}{9.8} } = 1
so the answer is 1m
