Given,

U = 0
V = ?
G = 10m/s²
H= 45m

Using the Newton's 3rd equation of motion

➡V² - U² = 2as

➡V² = (0)² + 2 x 10 x 45

v = \sqrt{900}

v = 30

Answer = 30m/s is the striking velocity of ball when it reaches the ground.
