A stone is projected vertically upwards with a velocity of 20 ms-1 . If the stone reaches a height of n meter , find the value of n taking the acceleration due to gravity to be 10 ms-2

for \: vertically \: projected \: body \\ acceleration \: a =  - g \\ v = 0 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: u = 20 \\  {v}^{2}  -  {u}^{2}  = 2 \times a \times s \\  {0}^{2}  -  {20}^{2}  = 2 \times ( - 10) \times n \\  - 400 =  - 20 \times n \\ n = 20m.
