height of stone , h = -50m [ taking reference level is at 50m above from ground]
horizontal initial speed of stone , u_x=30m/s.
vertical initial speed of stone , u_y = 0m/s

at ground ,
horizontal speed , v_x=u_x=30m/s
vertical speed ,
v_y=\sqrt{u_y^2+2gh}
v_y=10\sqrt{6}

now, v=\sqrt{600+900}=10\sqrt{15}

now, stone is projected with speed 10√15 at an angle of projection is 45° with horizontal.
so, maximum height = u²sin²θ/2g
= (1500)² × sin²45°/2 × 10
= (1500) × 1/2/20
= 1500/40
= 37.5 m
