a stone is thrown in a vertically upward direction with a velocity of 5 m per sec.If the acc. of the stone diring its motion is 10 m per second square in the downward drection,what will be the height attained by the stone amd how much time will it take to reach there​

v=u+at

-5 = (-10) t...(-ve sign indicates acceleration is in opposite directions)

t = 0.5 sec

S = ut +1/2 at^2

S = 2.5 + 1/2 10×2.5

= 2.5+12.5

S = 15 m

Total time = 0.5+0.5=1s

Total time = 0.5+0.5=1sand max height = 30 m
