Explanation:

initial velocity =0

Final velocity =5m/s

gravity =9.8ms-²

height =?

h=u+t+½×g×t²

=0+5+½×9.8×5²

=0+4.9×25

=122.5

Answer:

Given, u = 5m/s; v = 0 m/s; a = -10m/s

We know,

2as = v^2 - u^2

or, -20s = -25

or, s = 5/4 m = 125 cm = 1.25 m

Now, we know v = u + at

or, u + at = v

or, 5 - 10t = 0

or, -10t = -5

or, t = 1/2 s = 0.5s

Hence, height = 1.25 m and time = 0.5 s

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!
