(a) at what height will the kinetic energy & potential energy of the body be equal ?
(b) calculate the potential energy of the body of its mass is 10kg​

1)1/2 the total height.

2)8 kJ

Explanation:

1) For KE & PE to be equal,

1/2mv^2=mgh

0.5*40*40=10*h

h=80 metres

2) PE=mgh

PE=10*10*80

PE=8000 J

PE=8 kJ
