Here, length of thread = radius of circle formed = 1.2 meters.

Distance travelled by the stone = circumference of circle = 2πr = 2(22/7)(12/10) = 7.542 meters.

Now, SI unit of distance is already in meters. Thus, there is no need to change it.

Time take by the stone to complete 1 revolution or 7.542 meters = 2 min.

SI unit of time is second. 1 min = 60 s. Thus, 2 min = 2*60 = 120 s.

Now, We have time as well as the distance covered by the stone.

We know that speed = Distance/Time = 7.542/120 m/s = 0.06285 ms⁻¹

That's the speed of the stone in SI units.
