A stone thrown vertically upward with initial velocity u reaches a height ' h' before coming down. show that the time taken to go up is same as the time taken to come down

V=U+gT

V= final velocity

U= initial velocity

T=time

g= acceleration due to gravity and acceleration acting against gravity.

So by this formula U can know that the force with which the object is thrown up is against the 'g'. So it goes up and stops at a point where its velocity and momentum becomes zero. And then it comes down with the 'g'. So by calculating the time we will get the same value, if we consider 'g'to be 9.8 m/s^2
